I told you guys last week that attending Smorgasburg is on my July to-do list. I dragged my brother there with me last Sunday and it was so worth the wait. It was basically foodie paradise. The first thing I tried was a lemonade from a stand called Big Mozz. It didn't really taste like lemon...weird, right? I figured I should have gone with a vendor that specialized in drinks and not mozzarella. Either way, I know better for next time. My first bite was into a chipotle shrimp taco from Takumi Taco. Brother got the spicy tuna and we agreed mine was the better choice. The shrimp was just spicy enough and the side of chips made it easy to pick up the pieces that fell out the taco shell since I eat like a five year old.

Up next, I visited The Truffliest where I went with a half of The Truffliest Cheesesteak. The bread was toasted just enough to give it a nice crunch and the  Swiss cheese on top blended everything together perfectly. Definitely recommend!

After that, my stomach was full but my eyes weren't ready to call it a day. I was torn between ice cream sandwiched between two cookies (wish I had that right now!) or a doughnut. I went with the doughnut from Dough. They had a wide selection... salted caramel chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and hibiscus but I wanted to be basic so I went with regular glazed. I think I made the right choice. Brother got hibiscus and thought it was amazing. I, on the other hand, refused to take a second bite.  Being basic was the right choice.

I wish I could afford to go every weekend but then I wouldn't fit any of my clothes. I definitely recommend going if you haven't already been. The food is amazing and you'll be full with only spending $20. If you want to go on a Saturday, head to Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Kent ave. The Sunday location that I went to is at the Brooklyn Bridge Park- Pier 5. Both days run from 11am-6pm. I got there around noon and even though the sun was blazing, I didnt have to wait in any long lines which was pretty surpising.

If you're thinking about going and have any questions, definitely ask in the comments below.
